Claude Duet, and how to get on the waitlist
Anthropic's new assistant that comes to you, and the link to join the list for it.

The Claude app waits for you to open a chat. Claude Duet works the other way round, and Anthropic says it built it for professionals and small business owners with more on their plates than they can track.

Who Can Join
Anthropic opened it on 21 October 2026 as a research preview, starting with Pro and Max subscribers in the US. It is included in those plans rather than costing extra, and it comes as its own app on iPhone and Android and on claude.ai. Anthropic has not said when it opens to other plans or other countries, so the waitlist is the way to hear first.
One Honest Bit
It is an early version, and Anthropic says so itself. It might misread a thread or get wrong what is urgent, it is better at work than at personal errands, and its checks in the background use up your plan's limits the same as your chats do, with big jobs like a financial model using more. I haven't got access yet either, so everything on this page is from Anthropic's own pages rather than from using it.
